Tactile Experience of Music (2015)

I collaborated with Incloodu and architect Martin Glover who specialises in designing environments sensitive to people with hearing impairments in 2015 to investigate how music could be experienced through vibration by people with hearing impairments. This collaboration culminated with an installation at Incloodu, a deaf and hard-of-hearing arts festival that takes place annually at Richmix in Shoreditch. A set of furniture was created which was installed as part of the festival where it was used to turn live input from musicians into specially tuned vibrations located in various parts of the furniture.
